PM&R Physician - Los Robles, CA

Gold PM&R is seeking a Physiatrist to lead rehabilitation care for patients in inpatient rehabilitation and subacute settings. You will assess functional needs, guide individualized rehabilitation plans, and collaborate with therapists, nurses, internal medicine clinicians, and facility teams to help patients make meaningful progress.

• Evaluate patients’ rehabilitation needs, functional status, and goals.
• Develop and oversee individualized rehabilitation plans in collaboration with the care team.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment recommendations as patients’ needs change.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and coordinate with therapists, nursing, and medical providers.
• Discuss rehabilitation goals, expected progress, and discharge plans with patients and families.
• Complete accurate, timely evaluations, progress notes, and other required documentation.

• MD or DO degree and completion of a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation residency.
• Board certified or board eligible in PM&R.
• Active or obtainable medical license in the state of practice.
• Strong clinical judgment and experience caring for patients with complex rehabilitation needs.
• Clear communication and a collaborative approach to interdisciplinary care.

Facility-based daytime rounding with a predictable weekly rhythm. Coverage is structured so time off is truly off — the group schedules cross-coverage rather than leaving you tethered to the unit.

• Potential annual earnings of $350,000–$400,000, depending on the opportunity.
• Inpatient practice with an anticipated daily patient volume of approximately 15–25.
• Schedule options may include Monday–Friday, 7-on/7-off, or weekends, depending on the facility.
• Independent contractor opportunities.
• Internal Medicine collaboration based on the facility’s care model.
• No in-house call where applicable.
