At Haliburton Hockey Haven Sports Camp we are dedicated to enriching the lives of young athletes through sport, education and leadership. If you are the type of person that doesn’t mind lending a hand in any capacity to assist our brand new endeavor now and into the future then we would love to hear from you!

The two week Leader in Training program at Haliburton Hockey Haven offers those age 16 the opportunity to develop skills that will be useful in becoming a camp counselor and community leader. The program provides an educational transition from camper to staff, focusing on the shift from participation to leadership. Along with two weeks of instruction overseen by our leadership staff the LITs will also be given the opportunity to gain volunteer hours.

We offer four overnight LIT sessions throughout the summer with each program being a two-week commitment with mandatory overnight stay.

The process to becoming an LIT at HHH starts with sending a resume if you are interested in joining our team. Applicants will then be invited to our interview process; those offered admission will be contacted with further information. We are looking for individuals who are ready to take on greater responsibilities than that of a regular camper.

The two week residential LIT program is $1000 per week. This cost includes:

• Room and board
• Meals
• Access to all camp activities
• An LIT HHH shirt
