As an Early Head Start Teacher I, you will:

• Provide a comprehensive educational program for children aged 0 to 3 years in a dynamic classroom setting.
• Create engaging indoor and outdoor learning environments that support physical, social, emotional, and educational growth.
• Implement age‑appropriate curriculum aligned with Head Start standards.
• Supervise and engage with children, bringing energy and enthusiasm to every activity.
• Collaborate with diverse staff, children, and families while maintaining compliance with health, safety, and Community Care Licensing requirements.
• Maintain a nurturing, respectful, and professional learning environment, ensuring punctuality and reliability.

• Experience working with young children.
• Child Development Associate (CDA) Teacher permit, obtainable within six months of hire.
• 12 ECE units completed, including core courses; at least 6 units in infant and toddler development.
• California Health and Safety Certificate.
• CPR and First Aid certification, obtained within six months of hire.
• Health screening: current negative TB test and required immunizations (measles, pertussis/Dtap, influenza).
• Valid California Driver's License and proof of current automobile insurance coverage.
