Position Overview

• Wind Site Technician II – Mojave, CA (Pinyon Pines site)

• Responsible for ensuring smooth operation of wind turbines, handling maintenance, troubleshooting, and system issues.
• Collaborate with teammates to improve turbine performance and share best practices.
• Document work and continuously improve operational processes.
• Accurly time code all work activities for clear tracking of task duration & progress.

Who you are

• At least 6 months with Wind Technician certificate, or 1 year wind turbine experience, or 2 years in mechanical or electrical fields.
• Highly developed problem solving abilities and active approach to responsibilities.
• Safety conscious and committed to best practices.
• Capable of working well with others and collaborative environments.
• Physically fit, comfortable working in various conditions, and heights.
• English speaking, reading, and following instructions.
• Hold high school diploma (or equivalent), valid driver’s license, and legally authorized to work in U.s. without sponsorship.

Salary & Career Growth

At vestas offer attractive pay packages, performance bonuses, and opportunities for dev. The base pay range is $28.00-$33.43/hr with potential for variable comp.

Physical Demands - abilities include standing, walking, hearing, visual acuity, stooping, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, lifting items up to 50lbs, and attend safety training.
