Position Specific Description
Smile, you found us! Under limited guidance, this position directs a team of maintenance specialists, technicians, engineers, and contractors involved in power plant overhauls and maintenance. The individual in this position will lead internal and external resources to execute maintenance work with direct accountability for safety, environment, quality, schedule, and cost. The ideal candidate is expected to apply rigor, discipline, and focus in following standardized processes and procedures, while continuously applying a lean and quality improvement mindset to improve the process.
Preferred candidates will have a strong technical knowledge of power plant equipment and are skilled in understanding and resolving technical issues, including for unplanned scope. The individual in this role will work closely with other Supervisors and Contract Coordinators to develop and implement complex plans for execution of work scope. This position will be based at our Alta Wind Site near Mojave, CA, and will travel to support the West Hub.
Possible night shift coverage for wind turbine work may be required. Up to 75% travel is expected for this position.

5 years of Wind Turbine Experience
Employees in this job direct a team of maintenance specialists, technicians, engineers, and contractors involved in major maintenance activities or plant maintenance. Individuals in this position lead internal and external resources to Deliver Certainty for assigned major maintenance activities or plant maintenance to achieve objectives for: safety, environmental, quality, schedule, and cost compliance.
Job Duties & Responsibilities- Focuses on streamlining activities through the use of lean maintenance concepts and standardized processes and procedures
- Develops leadership skills to assume greater accountability for internal employee development and performance management
- Leads, under general guidance, the cost and schedule functions in accordance with corporate financial policies and procedures

Preferred QualificationsThe estimated base pay for this position is $81,600.00 to $ per year. Starting pay will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, job-related and industry knowledge and skills and education/training.
