Salary Range: $80,000.00 To $88,000.00 Annually

As a Project Manager, participating in product design and integration, product validation, verification and test. You’ll research, develop, design, integrate, and test mechanical and electrical components, subsystems, and systems. You’ll coordinate engineering related disciplines in resolving system-level issues, understand system-to-system interfaces, and serve as a proactive troubleshooter.

Provide efficient solutions to the development of products, ranging from small component designs to bed frame systems. This position involves managing the entire cycle of a product from inception, through engineering design and manufacture, engineering change orders, to service and disposal of manufactured products.

• Conceptualize and design long term care bed systems and bed accessories.
• Collect and analyze data from product testing to design mechanical components, welded assemblies, and integrate with linear actuation system.
• Source OEM hardware components or design custom parts.
• Evaluate solutions by analyzing the performance and feasibility of various concepts using theory, simulations, CAD models and engineering prototypes.
• Develop and review product designs for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer requirements, safety standards, regulations, and industry guidelines.
• Generate project documentation in accordance with internal procedures to ensure project information is properly organized and archived.
• Initiate and execute engineering documentation changes, specifications, and drawing releases.
• Utilize Solid Works 3D modeling software to create solid models and drawings of parts and assemblies.
• Communicate project status accurately and concisely to stakeholders.
• Interact with the manufacturing associates to expedite the product development process, ensure manufacturability, and support the transition of new products to manufacturing.
• This position is in a professional office, manufacturing, and R&D lab environments.
• It requires assistance in building and assembly of engineering prototypes, set-up of testing equipment, and performing R&D product tests.

• Support production/quality to determine root cause and collaborate on solutions for manufacturing issues affecting the design and manufacturability of products.
