Energy Vault Solution, a division within Energy Vault, is dedicated to delivering customer-focused energy storage products that merge Battery and Clean Hydrogen technologies. The Energy Vault Solution team also develops and manages our AI/ML powered software applications that include EMS, Lifecycle Management, and Energy Trading Platforms.

Energy Vault is looking for a Senior Field Service Engineer to maintain and ensure the successful operation of our Energy Storage Hydrogen/Battery Energy Storage system in Calistoga, California. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance services on utility/commercial energy storage products. Applicants should be self-motivated team players with a positive attitude!

• This position will report to the EV Solution Senior Director of Technical Services.
• Perform required preventative maintenance and repair activities on energy storage products to maintain warranty coverage and long‑term servicing agreements.
• Support operation of the Calistoga Resiliency Center system in response to PG&E PSPS events and CAISO market operations.
• Respond to corrective maintenance cases on energy storage products and update online case logs accurately.
• Perform commissioning activities on new projects.
• Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) best practices and proactively enforce compliance among team members to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
• Work closely with members of the Operations, Engineering, Quality Health & Safety, Software teams to resolve issues and close service tickets.
• Comply with site working policies and practices.
• Maintain records of site activities per department policies and practices.
• Develop working relationships with EV Engineering personnel and the India Operations Center.
• Utilize EV ticketing system to document new issues, provide updates on open tickets and close resolved tickets.
• Respond to customer concerns with the performance or functionality of the system.
• Write reports, where required, to comply with the O&M contract deliverables.
• Have flexibility to provide support outside your home location, as required.
• Ensure that all company property is well maintained and secure.

• 8+ years of experience in applicable experience in Energy generation project systems
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining utility power generation equipment and medium/high voltage protection and control equipment (both AC/DC).
