* Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Automatic Welding & Forming Solutions Specialist. This hybrid role combines technical sales expertise with hands-on applications support in our welding and forming lab. You will be responsible for driving growth in automated welding and forming equipment solutions while providing process demonstrations and technical guidance to customers.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of engineering and business development-helping customers identify requirements, recommending engineered solutions, and ensuring successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development

Develop and manage customer relationships across manufacturing and fabrication industries.
Identify customer welding and forming requirements and provide tailored technical solutions.
Present, demonstrate, and sell automated welding systems and forming machines.
Travel domestically to customer sites, industry events, and trade shows.
Follow up on leads and maintain repeat customer engagement.

Technical Applications & Lab Support

Provide process support and demonstrations in the welding and forming lab, five days a week.
Collaborate with engineers and technicians to identify and validate the best welding and forming processes for customer applications.
Assist in evaluating customer requirements and recommend standard or custom solutions.
Support engineering in developing specialized system solutions for unique manufacturing needs.
Maintain expertise in welding technologies and forming systems to ensure accurate recommendations.

Ideal Candidate

Confident, motivated, and driven to close sales while delivering technical excellence.
Minimum 10+ years of welding/automation-related industry experience.
Strong working knowledge of welding technologies: GTAW (TIG), MIG, Laser.
Familiarity with robotic automation strongly preferred.

Experience with roll forming systems (2-roll, 3-roll & 4-roll).
Skilled in solving technical challenges and communicating with engineering teams.
Enjoys working with customers on-site and in the lab to discover needs and provide solutions.

Additional Requirements

Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to understand complex machinery and technical specifications.
Willingness to travel regularly within the United States.
