Dir, Financial Planning & Analysis

The Director of FP&A reports to the Executive Director of Finance & Investor Relations and will be instrumental in building Arcutis's decision support capability to enable efficient operations and effective capital allocation across the enterprise. The Director of FP&A will act as the Finance lead for the Clinical Development and Technical Operations functions at Arcutis and also lead consolidation and corporate finance efforts.

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent work experience; MBA degree preferred.

7+ years of experience in finance and/or accounting positions in a relevant industry.

• Track record of collaboration, stakeholder relationship management, and influencing key decision‑makers.
• Experience with clinical trials and biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Well‑developed analytical skills that demonstrate the ability to drive from data to analysis to insight.
• Self‑motivated with the strong work ethic and sense of urgency required for success in a rapidly growing biotech company and an equally critical ability to problem solve in high pressure situations.
• Process‑oriented thinker with experience in process design, implementation, and improvement.
• Strong written and oral communication skills allowing for presentation of complex financial concepts in a digestible manner to stakeholders with varying degrees of financial experience.
• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity in the life sciences industry.
• Highly skilled in use of financial information technology (e.g., ERP and financial planning systems).
• Solid working knowledge of GAAP to facilitate understanding of financial results and forward‑looking forecast.
• Familiarity with the control and compliance requirements of a public company including knowledge of the Sarbanes‑Oxley Act (SOX).
• Travel may be required up to 10% of time worked.
