OverviewUnder supervision, provide service and portfolio support to Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers. This position requires multi‑tasking skills, the ability to prioritize assignments, mastery of internal applications, and effective communication with customers.
Responsibilities- Answer questions and resolve problems, such as pulling statements, confirming NSF transactions, providing balances, fulfilling transfers, processing wires, loan payments, setting up online banking portals, changing addresses, explaining account activities, researching suspicious activities, processing fraud cases, processing credit card applications, and more.
- Assist Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers by handling internal forms, loan statements, loan amount research, refunds, waivers, collecting KYC documents, and dealing with commercial account opening requests.
- Collaborate with internal departments (wire, loan, Risk Management, BSA, GL servicing, CSBC customer service, CSBC new accounts, branch support, physical branches) to find answers and resolve problems, including queries on suspicious wires, ACH, overdraft, fraud checks, BSA RFI, etc.
- Open deposit accounts for new and existing clients, setting up online banking access as requested.
- Submit loan document requests upon loan approval, assist PMs with pending items and required approvals, and communicate with borrowers to obtain necessary information.
- Handle loan funding/closing upon receipt of executed documents, coordinating among escrow, title company, borrower, and PMs/RMs to ensure timely funding and close of loans.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Basic knowledge of banking operations.
- Good written and verbal communication skills when dealing with internal and external clients.
- Strong customer service handling skills.
- Ability to manage high‑volume inquiries in a timely manner.
- Good organization skills.
- Ability to complete all core training.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
- Professional working proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
The base pay range for this position is USD $28.00 per hour to USD $35.00 per hour, based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
