Public Agency Resources (PARS), a subsidiary of Willdan Group Inc., has an opening for a Permit Technician in the Venice, CA area.

What You'll Do

* Provide customer support at the counter and over the phone.

* Review permit applications for completeness and accuracy.

* Calculate and collect permit fees.

* Process and issue building permits.

* Ensure all conditions of approvals are met prior to issuance.

* Assist the public with permit applications.

* Verify all necessary project approvals are obtained prior to permit issuance.

* Notify applicants when construction documents and/or permits are ready for pick-up or issuance.

* Coordinate and route documents for plan review and approval.

* Help resolve resident inquiries and complaints.

What You'll Bring

* Must have ICC Certification and municipal experience (ICC Certification Counter Technician).

* 3+ years as a Permit Technician required.

* Knowledge of various permitting software is a plus.

* Ability to lift/move up to 10lbs and occasionally lift/move up to 25lbs.
