The City of Cortez has one student representative opening as well as two adult openings on the Public Arts Advisory Committee. Meetings are held on the first Monday of the month at 5:00 p.m. Some of the responsibilities include making recommendations to Cortez City Council and City staff regarding arts initiatives and all aspects of planning, programming, procurement, installation, operations, maintenance, restoration, and promotion of City-owned public arts projects, and artwork.
The terms are for two-year appointments. Interested applicants must complete the Boards and Commissions Application . Please contact the City Clerk at or cityclerk for more information.
