The Alpine County Board of Supervisors approved the change to this position title on October 7, 2025 at a regular meeting. There were no changes to the job description. Applications received prior to this change will remain active unless otherwise notified, there is no need to re-apply.

Under a delegation of authority from the Board of Supervisors, this class has the overall responsibility for policy development, program planning, fiscal management, administration, and operation of all County functions, programs, and activities. This recruitment will remain open until filled. Applications will be reviewed as received.
