Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of CT and X-ray experience, ARRT certifications, and a CA license for an acute care assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care setting within a CT/X-Ray unit

• Perform both CT and X-ray procedures

• 8-hour evening and night shifts with call included and every other weekend required

• First to float as needed within clinical scope

• Uses Cerner for EMR documentation

• Team member will be responsible for both CT and X-ray imaging procedures as assigned

• Candidates may be required to float to similar units within the facility

• 12 hours of orientation provided

• Appropriate scrubs should be worn per department policy

• Candidates must not have been employed by Common Spirit, CHI, or Dignity in the past year

• Permanent residence more than 50 miles from the facility is required for certain states (AZ, NV, NE, IA, MN) and more than 60 miles for others (CO, KS, UT)

Requirements

• Active CA state Radiologic Technologist license required; license required if applicable

• Current BLS, ARRT (CT), ARRT (R), and Fluoroscopy certifications required

• Minimum 2 years of recent CT and X-ray experience

• Experience working in an acute care hospital setting

• References from one supervisor within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

• Copy of driver’s license must be provided
