Cath Lab Technologist travel assignment in Saint Helena, California. • Aid physicians with invasive and non-invasive cardiovascular and pulmonary procedures; operate C-arm and related imaging/physiologic equipment; adjust technical factors as needed.
• Monitor patient vital signs during procedures; ensure radiation safety through collimation, shielding and proper immobilization.
• Maintain sterile technique and infection control; perform routine equipment checks and preventive maintenance; troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
• Record and review test results; maintain accurate documentation and patient records per protocol.
• Assist during administration of contrast media and during specialized procedures, collaborating with the cardiologist and radiologist.

• Education and experience:
  
  Associate’s Degree or equivalent; two years' recent field experience; one year of catheterization experience preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications:
  
  ARRT-R certification required; RT license in CA and HI required.
• Additional licenses:
  Current fluoroscopy license (CA) within 6 months of hire; BLS/CPR certification required.
• EMR: EPIC experience required.
• Additional:
  Current nursing license per the state of assignment.
