Activities Director

As an Activities Director, you will play a vital role in creating a fulfilling and engaging experience for our residents, fostering a sense of community and purpose. We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate individual to join our team and help us deliver exceptional care.

$21.00- $23.00 Hourly

• Develop and implement meaningful activities and programs for residents, incorporating various formats such as arts, crafts, games, and outings
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure activities align with resident interests, abilities, and needs
• Conduct resident assessments to identify interests and abilities, and create personalized activity plans
• Coordinate with families and caregivers to ensure residents is fully engaged and involved
• Manage and maintain activity supplies, equipment, and budget
• Develop and maintain relationships with local community organizations and businesses to access resources and services for residents

• Minimum 2 years of experience in activities, recreation, or a related field
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of adult day care and long-term care regulations and best practices
