Shift - Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, with 1–2 evening shifts per week from 11:30 AM–8:00 PM.

Summary

We are seeking a skilled Therapist to join our compassionate team at New Dawn Treatment Center in Orangevale, CA. In this vital role, you will contribute to our mission of providing high-quality mental health and addiction treatment, helping clients achieve meaningful change in their lives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to support clients' mental health needs.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy and crisis intervention.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
• Provide crisis management support as needed.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in therapy.
• Foster a supportive and empathetic environment for clients.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• Active state licensure as a therapist (ACSW, LCSW, AMFT, LMFT, APCC, LPCC).
• Proven experience in psychotherapy and addiction counseling.
• Strong understanding of cognitive behavioral therapy techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices is a plus.
• Experience working with diverse populations, including children and families.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
