Hotel Front Desk Agent

Sugar Bowl Resort is seeking a Hotel Front Desk Agent to manage guest check-ins/check-outs and related charges. The role involves handling reservations, inquiries, and promoting hotel services to maximize revenue. You will need to respond promptly and courteously to guest needs, maintaining a professional image and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Who You Are

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in hospitality preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Basic arithmetic skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of the local area
• Previous property management system experience is a plus
• Organizational skills and flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Physical ability to lift 20-50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Answering phones and making reservations
• Processing deposits and cancellations
• Guest correspondence and complaint handling
• Generating reports
• Checking guests in and out
• Providing concierge services
• Relaying messages and greeting guests cheerfully
• Responding to emergency procedures
• Promoting hotel services
• Light cleaning and housekeeping duties as needed
