The Human Resources Generalist is a member of a local Human Resources team and builds a strong consultative relationship with assigned client groups, acting as key point of contact, trusted advisor, and sounding board for managers and employees. This includes the continuous assessment and monitoring of the organizational health of their assigned client groups, and the development and execution of various HR programs to drive employee engagement.
Job Responsibilities- Recruiting:
Support the selection process for all location-specific positions, including participating in interviews and selection of candidates for hourly and salaried positions. - Employee Benefits:
Communicate and educate employees on the use of company benefits, including health, life, disability, and 401(K). - Employee Leaves of Absence:
Educate employees on leaves of absence, including qualifications and eligibility. - Employee Relations:
Manage employee engagement programs, maintain partnerships with client groups, and provide HR-related information. - Training & Development:
Conduct HR training to employees, guide new employee onboarding, and provide training on HR policy and process changes. - Administrative Tasks:
Complete hourly unemployment claim forms, manage HR files, and coordinate posting and audit of compliance documents.
- Minimum of a High School diploma and 4 years of HR experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a Business field with 1 year related experience or a Master’s degree in a related field of study.
- Knowledge of Human Resources management functional areas.
- Well-developed professional skills, integrity, and experience to handle interpersonal relationships and sensitive HR issues.
- Excellent multi-tasking, time-management, and prioritization skills.
- Proficiency in using MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource, Business Administration, or related field.
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification.
- Three years of HR experience in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment and proficiency in HR/employee database/systems.
The work is primarily performed in an office environment, and the physical demands are characteristic of a mostly sedentary role.
Food safety is a company-wide responsibility, and each employee must know their role in the manufacture and distribution of safe, wholesome, and high-quality products.

The salary range for this position is USD (87865.0 - 131798.0) ANN, depending on factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
