Human Resource Manager

Location: Chatsworth

Century Group is partnering with a client is looking to bring a Human Resource Manager onto their team. This position is located in Chatsworth, CA and is fully on-site. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $90,000 to $100,000 per year.

Job Description:

• Administer/maintain handbook
• Develop and/or administer training programs
• Administer worker's compensation and injury reporting, 401(k) Retirement, Health and Welfare Plans, 5500
• Assist with payroll processing
• Conduct new hire orientation
• Responsible for recruiting life cycle, and immigration
• Conduct new hire orientation
• Employee relations and investigations
• Exit interviews
• Prepare and revise job descriptions

Requirements:

• Proficiency in California Labor Law
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written/oral communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Adept at persuasiveness and negotiation
• Very knowledgeable of Microsoft Office Suite

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in related field and a minimum of 5 years' Human Resources experience
