Education and Experience- Associate's degree equivalent to four (4) years of experience

Position Summary:
The Systems Administrator is primarily responsible for the Tribe’s server, storage, backup, and enterprise application environments. This position will also work with Helpdesk for next-tier support, desktop OS & application deployment, and documentation. This position requires attention to detail and a focus on security in all responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Deploy and update physical and virtual servers including Hyper‑V and VMware hosts.
- Monitor and maintain storage systems including iSCSI SANs.
- Manage and verify backups & maintain disaster recovery readiness.
- Manage Intune for device compliance, app & OS deployment, and endpoint security.
- Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, and related technologies.
- Apply patches and maintain security best practices across all systems.
- Provide next-tier technical support & training for Helpdesk.
- Monitor system performance, capacity, and security.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation, inventory, and SOPs.
- Collaborate with other IT staff and department teams to implement secure and efficient solutions.
- Respond to system outages and critical incidents, including occasional after‑hours support.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
