We are seeking a skilled and experienced C2 Network Engineer to join our team!

Responsibilities
  • Install, modify, and troubleshoot LANs, WANs and virtual networks at all levels of the OSI reference model Layers 1–4.
  • Analyze test network infrastructure, develop recommendations, and implement improvements for improved reliability and throughput for MCTSSA test and tactical networks.
  • Determine the effectiveness and efficiency of the test/engineering network infrastructure along with its participating Air C2 systems. Develop and implement strategies for improving test networks and further leveraging these systems to increase network communications capabilities or test infrastructures.
  • Investigate emerging LAN, WAN and virtual network technologies, including those employed in USMC tactical networks, to provide greater benefits to current test and USMC tactical networks per the OSI reference model.
  • Collect network data from test and engineering events to support event analysis and reporting.
  • Possess and use operational expertise and technical knowledge of C2 system integration within LAN and WAN architectures.
  • Administer Windows, Linux, and Android based systems, ensuring up‑to‑date software and applying required patches per ATO and program office directives.
  • Configure virtualized server computing environments as required – estimate at least once per month.
  • Deploy, configure, maintain, update, and troubleshoot virtual infrastructure environments and network administrator workstations.
  • Define, plan, develop, analyze, and assess the network communications security architecture and incorporate security measures into tactical systems.
  • Plan and direct network data collection. Deploy, set up, and operate network data collection test tools during test events.
  • Author network technical documents as requested by customers.
  • Perform network data analysis, data reduction, and reporting per established plans and deliverables such as test‑result figures, graphs, charts, and report verbiage.
