The role of the Club Attendant is integral to maintaining a welcoming and efficient clubhouse environment. The primary purpose of this position is to support the daily operations of the facility and its events, ensuring a high‑quality experience for all residents and guests. As a Club Attendant, you will provide excellent customer service, assist with event coordination, and contribute to a clean and well‑organized facility.
Job Duties & Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer care by guiding residents to facility activities and classes, finding answers to questions, and maintaining a safe, clean, and friendly environment.
- Serve as an assistant to management with facility operations and the conduct of day‑to‑day operations, activities, classes, and special events.
- Assist management with the opening, closing, and monitoring of the facility, and provide a professional staff presence.
- Relay messages between reception desk and management.
- Assist in the set‑up and breakdown of special events and community meetings.
- Answer facility questions and telephone inquiries; serve as public relations representatives to facility management, management company, and board of directors.
- Keep accurate records and monitor facility supply inventory; submit supply requests to maintain current inventory.
- Accompany new and prospective residents on facility tours.
- Ensure the clubhouse remains safe, equipment is used properly, and residents follow facility policies across all areas including the fitness center, aquatics facility, bocce ball courts, pickleball complex, and other clubhouse areas.
- Notify facility management of worn or damaged equipment and any other maintenance needs.
- Ensure the general goodwill to the community.
- Perform related duties as required or assigned.
- Knowledge of equipment, facilities, operations and techniques used in fitness and recreation services, lifestyle management, or party planning.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with residents, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Self‑motivated with the ability to set priorities.
- CPR, AED, and First Aid certification (preferred).
- Use standard office equipment, including computer, phone, copier/scanner, etc.
- Be stationary for periods of time.
- Relocate up to 25 pounds.
- Schedule varies based on business needs.
- Will be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- This position may require occasional long hours to meet business needs.
- May be required to work outside under varied weather conditions.
