Palletizing Lead

Position Summary

To train personnel and assist the Department Supervisor to ensure department runs smoothly and safely. Work side by side with palletizing employees to ensure Frozen product produced by Production is properly palletized into finished goods. Reports case count to production. Vernon facility

• Palletizes Frozen product produced in Vernon Facility.
• Enforces all company rules in a fair and consistent manner.
• Reports any food safety or quality problems to personnel with the authority to initiate action.
• Follows J&J Snack Food’s all OSHA safety rules, Food Safety Plan (FSP), the Safe Quality Food (SQF) Program, the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and the Good Documentation Practices (GDPs).
• Follows all food safety laws and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Food Quality and Safety Requirements
• Palletizer will be responsible for maintaining food quality and safety within the plant.
• Food quality and safety issues must be reported to Quality Assurance Manager and/or Plant Manager.
• In the absence of the Quality Assurance Manager or Plant Manager, food quality and safety issues will be brought to the attention of the General Manager.
