• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow safety regulations
• Operate production equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
• Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety Culture
• Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor
• Transport material using the crane
• Load and unload material from trucks/equipment with magnet and/or grapple attachment
• Perform repetitive motions including finger movement, and twisting or pressure involving the wrists/hands
• Sit for long periods of time

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Experience with metal sorting a plus but not required; ability to distinguish between different metals and/or other materials for grading purposes and recognizing safety hazards
• Must be able to frequently lift 25 lbs or more, including carrying or pushing objects up to 100 ft
• Must be able to perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
• Must be able to stand for significant lengths of time in an industrial environment with exposure to all elements of weather
• Experience in either recycling or manufacturing environment preferred

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
