An Embroidery Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining embroidery machines to create embroidered designs on various fabrics and materials. They work with different types of thread and fabrics to produce high-quality embroidered products, ensuring designs are executed accurately and meet quality standards. You’ll be working with products from awesome clients that are heavily involved in the active lifestyle.

All About You

What You’ll Bring to the Role:

Set Up And Operation Of Machines
  • Operate embroidery machines, ensuring correct setup of thread, fabric, and needles.
  • Load and adjust designs into the machine's computer system.
  • Select appropriate materials and thread colors based on the design specifications.
Quality Control
  • Monitor embroidery process to ensure that designs are executed accurately and in line with client specifications.
  • Inspect finished products for errors, defects, or inconsistencies.
  • Make adjustments to machine settings as necessary to correct any issues.
Machine Maintenance
  • Perform routine maintenance on embroidery machines, such as cleaning, oiling, and replacing needles and thread.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical or technical issues with the machine.
Production Efficiency
  • Maintain a consistent pace of production to meet deadlines and production targets.
  • Track and report production metrics, including machine downtime and output.
Collaboration
  • Work closely with design teams, supervisors, and other operators to ensure smooth production processes.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues to resolve any production-related issues.
Inventory Management
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels of embroidery supplies, including threads, needles, stabilizers, and other consumables.
  • Inform supervisors when supplies are running low and need replenishing.
Safety And Cleanliness
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Follow company protocols for handling materials and operating machinery safely.
  • Trustworthy and moral character (we use pre-employment background & drug tests).
The Must Haves
  • Must have 2+ years of prior experience in warehousing/light industrial.
  • Experience in operating embroidery machines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook.
  • Must have physical ability to carry out essential job functions, including but not limited to, the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., walking and standing for extended periods, climbing ladders/stairs, comfortable with heights in elevated areas and tolerating conditions such as dust, dirt, noise, odors, heat, cold, etc.

  • Experience with a warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Knowledge of different types of threads and materials used in embroidery.
  • Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality embroidered products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize duties, follow through assignments with a minimum of direction, and be extremely detail oriented.
  • Has the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities.
