Bottling Forklift Operator II, Swing Shift

POSITION SUMMARY Under general supervision, perform material staging, glass loading, finished product movements, truck loading / unloading, production dunnage disposition and other duties as assigned by supervisor.

This is a swing shift position, working 3pm - 1:30am, and pays an additional $2/hour differential.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Performs finish product movements to include scanning loads for Warehouse tracking purposes

Pulls, verifies and stages materials for bottling lines.

Perform 5 high stacking operations for finished product.

Mandatory Proficiency in the operation of clamp attachment DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAbility to load/unload trucks

Participates in annual/bi-annual inventory

Completes all other work or tasks as assigned by manager

Performs daily forklift checks

Posts all necessary inventory transactions using a handheld device/barcoding; this includes movements, picks, shipments, etc.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Must be highly detail oriented to ensure accuracy of inventory, transactions, entries, etc.

Demonstrate strong math skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma1-2 years related job experience

Valid Forklift Certification with 1+ years of experience LANGUAGE SKILLS Advanced English language skills including ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Demonstrate strong math skills.

CERTIFICATION, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Forklift certification is a requirement for this position. Clamp experience, mandatory.

WORKING CONDITIONS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk to hear. The employee frequently is required to sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
