Overview

Pyramid Healthcare is dedicated to offering the highest quality of care to those we serve. Our Behavioral Health Technician serves as a direct care role with a primary responsibility of interacting with and supervising clients in treatment. Pyramid Healthcare in California and Maryland offers outpatient treatment and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) for men and women with substance use disorders, mental health disorders, co-occurring disorders, and problem gambling.

• Complete the intake process with new clients into the program.
• Maintain client documentation.
• Observe and document client self-administration of medication as applicable.
• Coordinate client activities.
• Follow objectives of treatment plans and client-specific needs.
• Evaluate behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provide responses, including crisis intervention.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly physical environment.
• Assist with the dietary needs of clients.
• Complete all required trainings.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred behavioral health experience or general healthcare experience.
• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification preferred.
