Territory Manager, FMB Cans - N.CA

Suntory Global Spirits is a leading premium spirits company that delivers high quality spirits and best-in-class marketing solutions. We are seeking an entrepreneurial Territory Manager to lead the FMB Cans division across Northern California.

• Entrepreneurial position in a high-volume, high-value market.
• Opportunity to develop and establish a sustainable on‑off premise strategy, evaluate ROI of territory activities, and build distributor partner relationships to drive goals and objectives.
• Assist the State Team in achieving volume, profit, and KPI targets for the territory.

• Drive brand presence to achieve maximum penetration across on‑premise and off‑premise channels, including placement, spec‑list improvements, menu listings, promotions, and display strategy.
• Manage distributor partner relationships, assess execution, and track progress against financial objectives and KPIs.
• Provide monthly sales training and communication to the distributor sales force on market, category, and brand trends.
• Develop strong relationships with key customers to facilitate collaborative business partnerships with national, regional, and independent accounts.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and yearly planning and market performance reviews with the State Manager and distributor teams to identify opportunities and risks.
• Manage budget (OPEX, brand investment funds, T&E).
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• Create an inclusive culture and effectively communicate with all stakeholders in the value chain.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners (e.g., field marketing, distillery partners) to maximize marketplace opportunities.

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• At least three (3) years of experience in the spirits, wine, or consumer goods industry.
• Stakeholder‑management experience with the ability to influence and develop strong partnerships.
• Thorough knowledge of distribution, promotion, and selling techniques with strong analytical capabilities.
• Experience working with a distributor is beneficial.
• Exceptional planning and self‑management skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Budget development and management experience.
• Licensed driver of motor vehicles.
• Ability for intermittent travel.
• Physical ability to lift, lower, push, carry, or pull up to 45 lbs.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, stoop, and type using a computer.

Salary Range – The salary range for this role, based in the Bay Area, California, is $100-115k, with an annual bonus, 401(k) match, profit sharing, and medical and wellness benefits. The range is commensurate with the candidate’s location, experience, and skill set.
