About the Job

This position is in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee and not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee holds a license to use McDonald’s logos and products, but is a separate company and employer. All employment matters—including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling—are handled by the franchisee, not McDonald’s USA.

• $16.50 per hour – Maryland
• $16.65 per hour – Montgomery County
• $19.00 per hour – District of Columbia

Shift Managers lead the shift each week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. They provide leadership to crew and other managers, monitor performance, maintain quality, service, and cleanliness, and communicate with the next Shift Manager. Responsibilities include planning, monitoring safety and profitability, and supporting department goals.
