Position Overview
Tutor Partners is seeking experienced qualified middle and high school math tutors to provide in-person tutoring services in partnership with the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) at its Juvenile Court Schools. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a direct academic impact with students in a specialized educational setting.

- Barry J. Nidorf Secure Youth Treatment Facility
- Road to Success Academy at Campus Kilpatrick SDF
Schedule
Monday-Friday, 8:00 am
-12 pm now through the end of the 2026-27 School Year
Pay Rate
$20-30 per hour.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or minimum of 24 college credits required;
Bachelor's degree preferred. - Experience working with students in grades 6-12; experience in juvenile justice or alternative education settings a plus
- Strong content knowledge in middle and high school math, experience tutoring ELA is a plus
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to pass required background clearances (e.g., Live Scan/fingerprinting) as required by LACOE
- Reliable transportation to assigned site
Responsibilities
- Provide small-group and push-in math support aligned to student needs during the school day
- Track and report student progress
- Participate in instructional planning with teachers and school leaders, administration of assessments, and coordination meetings
- Collaborate with Tutor Partners staff and site personnel to coordinate scheduling and materials
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and professional learning environment
