Current job opportunities are posted here as they become available.
* Construction industry or field operations experience is preferred but not required!
At Gothic Landscape, we don’t just build landscapes—we build systems that power how work gets done. As the largest family-owned commercial landscape company in the nation, our operations are complex, fast-moving, and deeply rooted in construction and field execution.
We’re looking for an IT Business Systems Specialist who understands how technology supports real-world operations—someone who can step into the field (conceptually and sometimes literally), translate operational challenges into system solutions, and drive meaningful improvements across our business.
This is not a generalist analyst role
. We’re seeking someone who has worked in or alongside field services or operational environments and knows how systems like ERP, CRM, or job costing platforms impact day-to-day execution.
1) Bridge Construction Operations & Technology
- Partner with teams across construction, field operations, finance, and IT
- Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, system workflows, and technical specifications that support scalable business solutions.
- Act as the primary liaison between field stakeholders and technical teams
- Facilitate discussions across business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to build consensus, balance competing priorities, and drive successful project outcomes.
- Analyze and document current (As-Is) business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and design future (To-Be) workflows for job costing, estimating, scheduling, dispatch, and project tracking.
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend ERP-driven or system-based solutions
- Drive process improvement, automation, and scalability
- Gather and validate business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and field engagement.
- Develop process maps, user stories, use cases, and system documentation
- Ensure alignment between business needs and technical delivery
- Analyze and validate business requirements by distinguishing true business needs from user requests, ensuring proposed solutions align with operational objectives and long-term business goals.
- Perform root cause analysis and gap analysis to identify process inefficiencies, evaluate solution alternatives, and recommend practical, scalable improvements.
- Support implementation and optimization of ERP, CRM, HRIS, or field service management systems
- Partner with vendors and internal teams on integrations and enhancements
- Lead or coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including defining acceptance criteria, developing test plans, supporting pilot deployments, validating business readiness, and assisting with production rollouts.
- Lead change management and user adoption efforts
- Develop training materials and support end users in operational environments
- Continuously improve usability and system effectiveness
- Analyze, normalize, and manipulate operational data using Excel, SQL, and reporting tools to identify trends, validate business requirements, and support informed decision-making.
- Support reporting, dashboards, and business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Translate data into actionable insights for leadership
- Design, support, and troubleshoot integrations between business systems using technologies such as SQL, APIs, Power Automate, SFTP, cloud storage, Single Sign-On (SSO), and data import/export…
