A multi-franchise dealer group is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a Hyundai, Genesis, and Nissan operation. We are seeking a proven leader who can drive profitability across all departments, build a strong team, and deliver an exceptional customer experience across three distinct brands, including Genesis's luxury retail standards.
Responsibilities Include:- Own full P&L responsibility for all departments: new, used, F&I, service, parts, and body shop (if applicable)
- Drive new and used vehicle sales volume, gross profit, and market share against OEM and group objectives
- Manage inventory strategy, turn, aging, and floorplan exposure across all three franchises
- Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing management team and staff
- Achieve and maintain strong CSI and SSI scores and meet OEM facility, training, and brand standards for Hyundai, Genesis, and Nissan
- Grow fixed operations absorption and customer-pay revenue
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including advertising, F&I, and employment law
- Build relationships with OEM representatives, lenders, and the local community
- 5+ years of General Manager experience at a franchised dealership;
Hyundai, Genesis, or Nissan experience strongly preferred - Proven track record of growing volume and net profit
- Strong financial acumen, including reading and acting on dealership financial statements
- Experience managing a luxury brand or premium customer experience is a plus
- Working knowledge of major DMS and CRM platforms
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and hold teams accountable
- California dealership experience preferred
