• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
• Identify and diagnose acute, chronic, and complex health conditions.
• Develop individualized care plans that address patient needs, with treatment goals and expected outcomes.
• Prescribe medications, therapies, and medical devices.

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Selective Service registration required for males born after 12/31/1959.
• Compliance with the IHS Employee Immunization Policy.
• Possession of a current, active, unrestricted nursing license in the U.S.
• Ability to obtain and maintain medical staff clinical privileges.
• On‑call hours or standby duty may be required.

To qualify for this position, your resume must demonstrate sufficient experience and/or education to perform the duties of the specific position.

• Education:
  
  A graduate or higher-level degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• Advanced Practice Nurse experience: at least one year of equivalent experience at the GS‑12 grade level.
• Licensure:
  Current, full, unrestricted license as a registered nurse and, for APN positions, a license in the relevant clinical specialty.
