Under general supervision, to provide a range of nursing functions, including the provision of basic health care and disease prevention / restorative measures in clinical and field settings; and to perform related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be:

Graduation from an accredited college with an associate’s degree in nursing.

Three years of professional nursing experience in an acute care hospital, at least one year of which included medical, surgical or emergency room nursing, and/or an ambulatory primary care clinic.

• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
• Possession of a valid CA Nursing License.

This is a part-time (.475% FTE) position with no benefits in a five-step salary system with advancement upon satisfactory completion of a one-year probationary period and annual increases thereafter.
