American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications and Epic experience.
Details- Surgical Recovery unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Day shift schedule, 5x8s, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Call requirement of 8 hours or less
- Uses Epic EMR
- Active CA RN license required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 5 years of experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- BSN preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- Delivers coordinated nursing care using the nursing process for assigned patients
- Supervises and directs activities of assigned nursing staff and coordinates care across disciplines
- Collects and analyzes patient assessment data to determine diagnoses and care priorities
- Develops and implements care plans, evaluates patient progress toward outcomes
- Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver safe, humane, and healing care
- Provides education to patients, families, and team members
- Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Delegates and coordinates duties among healthcare team members
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined
- Candidates with a prior adverse licensure action will not be considered
- No radius restriction; local candidates accepted at the same rate as traveler candidates
