American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring 2+ years of experience and current AWHONN Advanced certification.

• Labor and Delivery unit within an acute care, Magnet-designated hospital
• 1:2 patient ratios
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM-7:00 PM)
• Floating required between like units and potentially sister facilities
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Epic EMR used for charting

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Advanced, and LA City Fire Card
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Skilled in Labor and Delivery management and circulating for C-sections
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission

• Provide comprehensive labor and delivery nursing care including circulating for C-section procedures
• Scrubs of any color permitted; L&D and OR scrubs provided by facility
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius
• RTO requests must be submitted upfront at time of consideration
• Two supervisory references required, covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
• Free parking available on-site
