Travel​/Emergency Room RN

We are hiring a local travel Emergency Room RN for a 6-week contract in Portola, California. The role offers up to $3,240 per week based on experience. The RN will independently manage emergency care as the sole nurse in the ER.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients presenting with a variety of emergency medical conditions and injuries.
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and clinical presentation.
• Function as the sole nurse in the Emergency Room, demonstrating strong clinical judgment and independent decision-making.
• Recognize and respond promptly to medical emergencies, including life‑threatening conditions.
• Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
• Monitor patient conditions, identify changes in clinical status, and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians, EMS personnel, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient emergency care environment.
• Demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and professionalism while working independently in a critical‑access healthcare setting.

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in California or eligibility to practice under applicable California nursing licensure requirements.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Previous Emergency Department / Emergency Room nursing experience required.
• Strong clinical assessment, triage, and emergency response skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as the sole nurse in an Emergency Room setting.
• Excellent communication, organization, and critical‑thinking skills.

Licensed RN with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Experienced in emergency department, able to work solo. Strong triage, assessment, and critical‑thinking skills required
