Solenis, a Solenis company, is seeking an experienced Senior Key Account Manager with strong BSC, institutional, or Jan/San business experience. Ideal candidates will live near a major city or airport in the western U.S.
Client Relationship Management- Build and maintain strong, long‑term trusted relationships with high‑value clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring their needs are understood and met with tailored solutions.
- Engage key decision‑makers and operational leaders within customer accounts.
- Provide customer training and support.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client summits.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews and strategic planning sessions with clients.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for national and regional BSCs to drive growth and retention.
- Identify opportunities for upselling, cross‑selling, and expanding services to drive account profitability.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and mitigate threats.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and account objectives.
- Lead contract discussions, renewals, and performance timelines to maximize profit.
- Align field sellers and distribution sales teams to consistently meet client needs.
- Partner with supply chain, customer service, and field support teams for seamless product fulfillment.
- Proactively resolve escalations to maintain client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and customer support teams on market intelligence and voice‑of‑customer insights.
- Lead internal account reviews and performance updates to drive transparency and continuous improvement.
- Track key account metrics and proactively address risks or issues.
- Manage daily activities, priorities, and KPIs to meet customer expectations regarding service and sales support.
- Actively manage the sales funnel by tracking pipeline progression and driving conversion.
- Maintain accurate reporting of sales activities for data‑driven decision‑making and performance analysis.
- Collaborate on sales forecasting to align with business goals and resource planning.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; valid driver’s license required.
- 10+ years in B2B sales or account management, with at least 5 years focused on facility services, cleaning products, or hygiene solutions and an understanding of BSC operations.
- Experience navigating complex client organizations and procurement processes with demonstrated success in driving account growth and retention.
- Demonstrated ability to influence both executive and operational levels.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem‑solving, and financial judgment.
- Proven cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in sales performance metrics, CRM software, and data‑driven account planning.
- Ability to travel for industry events and client meetings.
