• Research Development
  :
  Assist in the development of plant varieties through disease screening and selection.
  Collaborate with Plant Breeder and Assistant to achieving program objectives.
• Assist in daily greenhouse care
  :
  General facility maintenance.
  General plant maintenance, seeding, fertilizing, watering, pruning, hand pollination,transplanting, seed collection and data collection.
  Monitor and report insect and disease problems.
• Field Work
  :
  Assist in planting field trials, including organizing seeds and flagging field.
  Assist in field crosses, including fruit harvest and seed extraction.
  Rogue Stock Seed field as directed.
• Lab
  :
  Assist as directed by individual breeder program.

Patience, fine motor skills, dexterity, attention to detail, good with numbers.
Capable of manual field labor.
