As a Kitchen Assistant, you’ll work alongside our Kitchen Manager and Kitchen Director to prepare delicious, wholesome meals for our campers and staff. While prior professional kitchen experience is valued, it’s not required—we’re eager to teach and train enthusiastic learners. This role offers hands-on experience in a professional kitchen while also providing you with the opportunity to take part in 150+ camp activities and epic camp-wide games in the evening.

Like all of our positions at camp, this position will live on-site, with all food, housing, and utilities provided for. The summer salary for this role is between $8000 and $10000 depending on skill and experience. Additional opportunities for pre-and post-season work also exist.

• Prepare, cook, and serve meals that cater to various dietary preferences and restrictions
• Work collaboratively with a passionate kitchen team to deliver nutritious, wholesome food
• Ensure that food is served on time and in accordance with dietary guidelines
• Participate in camp activities and clinics to fully experience camp life

• Must be at least 19 years old by May 13, 2026
• Available to work from May 12 to Aug 8, 2026 (with additional opportunities for pre- and post-season work)
• Comfortable and knowledgeable in preparing a variety of fresh meals
• Experience with alternative diets (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, etc.) is a plus but not required
• A willingness to learn and grow in a supportive environment

• Compensation
  :
  The summer salary ranges from $8,000 to $12,000 depending on experience and responsibilities. Additional paid work opportunities are available before and after the summer season.
