Overnight Cook 2

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Napa Valley is seeking an experienced culinary professional to join our overnight shift. The Cook 2 will prepare all meals and pastries, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and guest orders, meeting production, portion, and presentation standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare consistent quality food and pastry items according to guest orders following recipe cards and production, portion, and presentation standards.
  • Complete mise en place and set‑up station for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service.
  • Start food items that are prepared ahead of time, ensuring no over‑production.
  • Operate, maintain and clean kitchen equipment, including deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, and flat top grill.
  • Date all food containers and rotate per policies, keeping perishable items at proper temperatures.
  • Return unused food items to designated storage areas, covering and dating perishables.
  • Control food cost, waste, loss and usage per policy.
  • Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in the Employee Handbook.
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co‑workers and supervisors.
  • Adhere to meal break policy and follow proper payroll procedures.
  • Assist in prep work for the next shift as needed.
Qualifications
  • Minimum two years culinary or related work experience.
  • Culinary knowledge expected for this position.
  • On‑the‑job attainment of working knowledge.
  • Ability to operate, maintain and properly clean all listed equipment.
  • Proficient knife skills and ability to multi‑task.
  • Valid U.S. work authorization required; sponsorship/visa not available.
