Le Petit Pali at 8th Ave is a 24-room craftsman-style hotel nestled in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea, steps from award-winning dining, boutiques, and Carmel's white sand beach. The Server is the friendly face of the guest experience at Le Petit Pali at 8th Ave — bringing energy, warmth, and genuine care to every table. From morning coffee service to evening social hour, you'll make sure every guest feels looked after.

• Anticipate and respond to guest needs quickly and warmly, keeping focus even during a busy shift.
• Communicate professionally with guests, coworkers, and management, adapting to different personalities with ease.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of our food and beverage menu to guide and inform guests.
• Recognize and resolve problems using good judgment, tact, and initiative, in line with company policy.
• Operate cash registers, the Micros system, and hot beverage equipment accurately.
• Keep your workspace clean and organized, following side-work guidelines.
• Follow management's instructions and written memos and communicate proactively when you need more direction.

• 1+ years of experience as a Server
• Clear communicator with strong attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
• Comfortable with basic arithmetic and point-of-sale systems.
• Good judgment, calm under pressure, and a collaborative team player.

• Standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 30 lbs throughout the shift.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
