You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service while maintaining clear communication.

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help deter unauthorized access and/or breaches.
• Communicate and collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed, following established protocols.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
• Operate and maintain assigned security-related equipment, including firearms, in accordance with company and site-specific guidelines.
• Remain alert and attentive to changing conditions within the government facility, adapting security-related responses as required.

• At least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
