Location: Sylmar
Healthcare Security Officer Unarmed
IC Security is hiring Healthcare Security Officers to support hospitals and healthcare facilities. This position focuses on patient safety, customer service, and maintaining a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Officers will patrol facilities, respond to incidents, observe and report safety concerns, and use de-escalation techniques to promote a secure and welcoming healthcare environment.
What You'll Do- Patrol hospital and healthcare facilities
- Maintain a visible security presence
- Assist patients, visitors, and healthcare staff
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas
- Observe and report suspicious activity and safety concerns
- Complete incident reports and daily activity logs
- Respond to emergencies and security incidents
- Utilize de-escalation and conflict-resolution techniques
- Assist with access control and visitor management
- Coordinate with healthcare staff, supervisors, and law enforcement

Minimum Qualifications
- Valid California Driver's License
- Valid California BSIS Guard Card
- Current First Aid/CPR/AED Certification
- High School Diploma or higher
- Current Baton Permit/Card
- Current Handcuff Permit
- Healthcare vaccinations or immunizations, including TB, MMR, and Varicella
- Must pass a Live Scan background investigation and client approval process
- Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
- Must have a Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- 1+ year of Healthcare or Hospital Security experience
- 2+ years of Security Officer experience
- Customer Service or Hospitality experience
- Military or Law Enforcement experience a plus
