As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response in Barstow, CA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government human services location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment for staff and visitors.

• Fri: 08:30 AM - 05:00 PM

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government human services location while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, requesting additional assistance when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and assist with visitor screening and entry procedures in accordance with site policies.
• Carry authorized equipment in compliance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures; document incidents and observations accurately.

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
