Irrigation Technician

Overview

Hemington Landscape Services, Inc. is a multi-trade contractor specializing in commercial landscape installation, concrete construction, and park construction general contracting. Hemington was founded in 1983 and serves the greater Sacramento area. We are headquartered in Cameron Park, CA. We are looking for an experienced Irrigation Technician to join our team.

• Travel to project sites daily to conduct inspections and repairs of commercial irrigation systems.
• Manage the programming and troubleshooting of all irrigation systems under contract.
• Field technical questions from construction managers and troubleshoot to find solutions.
• Interface with irrigation manufacturers for issues, inspections and other matters.
• Coordinate with Project Managers on any questions or issues that may arise during the construction process.
• Generate daily activity reports on Plan Grid.
• Coordinate project closeout process and attend site meetings.
• Assist Project Managers in all aspects of a project from start to finish.
• Other duties as assigned by the project management team.
• Manage submittal process for projects assigned to.

• Valid driver’s license with favorable DMV record.
• Knowledge of basic Microsoft software systems such as Word and Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively with many different people.
• Strong desire to be a part of a close working, supportive team.
• 3-5 years of experience in the commercial landscape industry.
• A willingness to learn and complete tasks as needed that supports the team.
• Comfortable working with various software systems and basic computer skills.
