We are seeking an Aerial Lineman to join our team. In this role you will be working in a variety of environments (indoors, outdoors, tight spaces, elevated spaces) and performing aerial fiber and coax installation, resolving and troubleshooting issues and providing excellent customer service.

The Role
  • Complete installation of products and services
  • May be asked to manage crew(s) in daily work
  • Install and/or repair aerial cable tv (CTV) coaxial and fiber cable
  • Place, relocate and remove poles, lines, open wires, drops and block wires to maintain efficient operation of the customer’s facilities
  • Set up safety perimeter using signage, cones, and safety barriers
  • Prioritize, organize and efficiently complete tasks to meet deadlines
  • Resolve and troubleshoot issues
  • Work in a variety of environments; indoors, outdoors, tight spaces, elevated
  • Travel to various client sites, sometimes overnight stays as needed
  • Navigate a variety of terrains managing tools and equipment
  • Direct traffic in accordance with local Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). as necessary
  • Strive to provide the best customer experience every day

Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience working in and troubleshooting aerial fiber optic installation and/or telecommunications construction required
  • Coax hardline experience a plus
  • Previous experience leading/managing others a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of OSHA safety requirements
  • Familiar with NESC (National Electrical Safety Commission) safety guidelines
  • Experience and ability to splice 875, 750, 625, 500 coaxial and set up node and amps for activation
  • Open to a variety of schedules; evenings and/or weekends as needed
  • Ability to travel daily; up to 50% travel requiring overnight stays as needed
  • Excellent customer service, time management, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to learn and operate testing equipment and software/programs
  • Ability to utilize hand tools, identify wire size/color and accurately utilize measuring devices
  • Ability to carry, climb, operate, and work upon an extension ladder (approximately 28 feet high and 75 pounds)
  • Ability to complete tasks with small components and wires
  • Ability to complete work indoors, outdoors, in tight spaces and elevated by bending, reaching, twisting, climbing, and working while standing up to 70% of the time
  • Ability to use gaffs to climb poles
  • Ability to build hardline on poles and use a lasher
  • Ability to safely work and navigate various terrains, managing equipment, safety equipment and tools
  • A body weight of no more than 275 pounds to perform ladder work safely.

  • Must provide a valid government‑issued photo  verification; a driver’s license is required if the role involves driving;
    Class A CDL a plus
  • Passing of all pre‑employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen)
