Experienced Truck Technician / Mechanic – Papé Kenworth
Pape’ Kenworth, a premier medium and heavy‑du‑ty truck and equipment dealer in the West, is seeking an Experienced Truck Technician to join our team.

What You’ll DoMaintain and repair medium and heavy‑du‑ty Class 7 & 8 trucks, ensuring every job is completed accurately, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues, restoring each truck to peak performance. Work on major components such as cabs, steering systems, engines, transmissions, axles, differentials, brakes, clutches, electrical systems, and air systems. Continuously improve your skills while working alongside highly trained technicians in a fully equipped shop.
WhatYou Need
- 2+ years of experience working on all makes and models of medium and heavy‑du‑ty Class 7/8 trucks, including engine repair, electronic troubleshooting, HVAC systems, and chassis repair. Diesel tech degree and mechanical aptitude acceptable.
- Kennworth Essentials certifications preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge;
Cummins and MX software experience preferred. - Self‑motivation and assertiveness.
- Ability to work under little or no supervision.
- Excellent communication and customer‑relations skills.
- Must provide own tools.
$33.80 – $34.35 /hr (depending on experience).
