Facility Technician

Job Summary Details:

We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. This full-time, non-exempt hourly position is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks across multiple trades, including carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general repairs. The role reports to the Facilities Supervisor.

Pay: $30.00 to $35.00

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

• Evaluate, repair, and maintain plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
• Respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues as they arise
• Communicate with the facilities supervisor and property management regarding tasks requiring external support
• Safely operate tools and equipment needed to complete repairs and projects
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Support access control systems and other general facility needs
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Facilities Supervisor

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry systems
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs., climb ladders, and work at heights
